Here is one of the e-mails that I received from a parent of children that took part in our Nutcracker:

Hi Mrs. Atkinson,
I just wanted to let you know how much my family and friends enjoyed the Nutcracker Performances Thanksgiving weekend.  I think you are an amazing instructor for everything you did in preparing these kids for all the shows, which was evident after seeing the performances come together the way they did.  My daughters are still talking about how much fun they had and miss meeting with you and everyone else for rehearsals.  My youngest daughter (Julia) has a new found love for "The Nutcracker".   We bought a Nutcracker musical CD and she has been acting out the parts often here at our home.  She is hoping Santa will bring her a Nutcracker of her own for Christmas and says that she is dreaming of playing the part of Clara someday.  I am thrilled to see that this dance performance has sparked such imagination in her little spirit and I am grateful for the lasting memories my girls will have of being a part of this children's show!
With sincere thanks,
Janel Lacke and Family
